If you read this blog, you know how much I love my Downtown Detroit Loft.

And if you know me, you know how much I love my Little Brother—which is why I am so excited he’s coming to visit me for Thanksgiving!

Actually the LCA Red Wings’ Practice Rink…When my Nephew’s Team Took the Ice!!

When he gets here on Wednesday, we’re going to get some dinner—I don’t know where yet, because there are so many options just outside my door—and then we’re heading a couple of blocks up Woodward to LCA for a Wings game!

On Thursday morning, we’ll get some breakfast, probably from The Hudson Café (which delivers straight to my door) and then watch the Art Van Thanksgiving Day Parade with the rest of America—except the TV Zone is right outside my door, so we’ll see it all LIVE!

And, much as I love my Little Brother, the best part is that it isn’t just him coming to visit: my sister-in-law, my niece, my nephew, and their cousin will ALL be here!

Yep. Along with Little Dog, it will be a FULL house! But my two-bedroom loft makes it easy for me to find somewhere for everyone to sleep! With plenty of living space and two full (and fully appointed bathrooms) ‘The More the Merrier’ is the motto for my home this Thanksgiving.

And being able to host my family at my loft means ‘Home is Where the Heart Is’ will be especially true—and what I am most Thankful for—this season.
