I’m surrounded by incredible local eateries just steps from the front door of my luxury loft, but sometimes it is nice (or necessary) for me to cook! And Michigan Fields makes it easy for me to eat healthy, delish meals at home by delivering fresh Michigan produce, bakery, and meats to my door!

And the best part? It’s all locally “grown, raised, baked, or prepared by Michigan businesses,” which lets me support and ‘grow’ my local community—doing good all while eating well.

Right now, I’m all about the Horkey Brother FarmsAsparagus.

Which I am going to pair with Bratwurst from Grazing Fields, a multi-farm cooperative in Michigan.

And, while I can fully appreciate the beauty of biting into a crisp Brat wrapped in a soft bun, I’m going with Zingerman’s Bakehouse Sourdough Batard—because the local farm fresh sour cream and milk they use will be an excellent accent to offset the strong flavor of the Brats. (Okay, and the 11-year-old boy-me just likes saying ‘batard’ and the #adulting me respects their nearly 30-year-old sourdough starter!)

I’m going to finish this off with a cobbler made from Horkey Brother FarmsRhubarb, topped with Fluffy Bottom Farms  Pure Vanilla Yogurt.

And, thanks to Michigan Fields and my Downtown Detroit Loft, I can have this all delivered right to my door, which lets me eat good and do good!
